Singing Play

Ever heard of 5 Little Monkeys Swinging in a Tree? Well while the children use their fingers you can use these fun props!  The monkeys have paper clips and the alligator had magnets to "snap" that monkey right out of the tree. I printed these off here:
There are also many other song/stories with props that you can print off free here

Another one of my favorites is the song Michael Finnegan. I copied this drawing from a friend and I just put it on a poster board then hot glued the poster to cardboard.  Once I glued it on I used my drill to make little holes where I threaded though some yarn. you can pull the yarn  from back to front when the wind "blows off his hair"  The song goes like this:

There once was a man named Michael Finnegan,

He had some whiskers on his chinnegan,

The wind came up and blew them in ag'in,
Poor old Michael Finnegan begin ag'in.

The Eensy Weensy Spider, such a classic found here

Mr. Sun (you know the one... Barney sings it!)
Oh, Mr. Sun, Sun, Mr. Golden Sun,
Please shine down on me.
Oh, Mr. Sun, Sun, Mr. Golden Sun,
Hiding behind a tree
These little children are asking you to please come out so we can play with you.
Oh, Mr. Sun, Sun, Mr. Golden Sun,
Please shine down on me!
